Terrebonne General is a public, non-profit health care system consisting of a 321 licensed bed acute care facility complete with a range of services such as a Women’s Center, cancer care services, an outpatient surgery center, diagnostic imaging services, Women’s Diagnostic and Breast Imaging Center, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and emergency care services. Terrebonne General takes pride in being the largest community-based hospital in the tri-parish area of Terrebonne, Lafourche and St. Mary parishes. In addition, the system currently has a medical staff of over 150 physicians offering a variety of specialties ranging from family practice to cardiovascular surgery.
