terzofoco is a ceramic boutique factory producing luxury bathroom and kitchen sinks that are made in Italy by hand and with passion. Our company name takes place from Terzo Foco, the ancient art of applying gold and ruby iridescent layers during a third firing using a broom? as fuel. This fascinating technique seems to have originated during the 9th century - way before the renowned Renaissance artists created unique masterpieces by developing the TERZO FOCO technique. Our factory is indeed based in Deruta, Umbria - a region known as the green heart of Italy where fertile fields and gentle hilly landscapes still offer the opportunity to cultivate centuries-old traditions and make them shine in contemporary craftmanship. Lying on the banks of the Tiber river, Deruta is known as the Capital of Majolica, of that ceramic processing that is extremely recognizable for its enamel and decorations that still represent it true soul today. And it's here in Deruta that our company was born and developed by looking to the past while continuously innovating but with our company mission: to be Made in Italy, by hand and with passion. By letting air, water, earth and fire come together to create some unique and inimitable objects thanks to the third fire technique. That's how our self-designed sinks for the bathroom become in fact handcrafted and handpainted from the casting and finishing to their enamelling and decoration process. So that their design, their patterns and their colors come together to create shapes and objects that create a unique atmosphere that characterizes your bathroom area with some unique and signed pieces of functional art.
