Teterboro School of Aeronautics (TSA) was founded in 1947 at Teterboro Airport, New Jersey, to fill a critical shortage of highly trained and skilled Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMT) in the ever-growing aviation industry. On October 1, 2019, Teterboro School of Aeronautics was acquired by Technical Education Services, Inc. TESI President Gerald Yagen also operates the Aviation Institute of Maintenance campuses around the country, and his leadership team is proud to provide TSA students the experience of a 13-campus institution and a network of aviation and aerospace employers nationwide. TSA has been in continuous operation since its inception and its graduates number well into the thousands. They have successfully filled virtually all occupation levels in aerospace, as well as in the other technological fields that require skills and training similar to the aerospace industry. Many have risen to the top of their chosen fields, and more graduates are choosing to continue their education and receive a degree. Students entering the school will join the unbroken line of graduates who have gone before them into some of the most exciting and dynamic careers available.
