About Texaco Camaro
Not Just Another 1969 Camaro, the Texaco Camaro is a one of kind tribute car to the 1960's Trans Am racing series with a modern twist. There was never a Texaco Camaro that campaigned in the Trans Am series, however Jason Bottenfield knew that it would be a great idea to have something that looked like it did. With the help of Dusold Designs (Lewisville, TX) the Texaco Camaro was born from Jason's first car, yes his first ever car from high school still lives in some form under the guise of the Texaco Camaro. He now campaigns the car in multiple racing events across the US with his 760HP Camaro and won the 2021 GTV Class National Championship after only two years of racing. Racing since 2020 spurred on by the Covid pandemic and wanting to find something to do, Jason plans to continue racing in the Optima Ultimate Street Car series and other venues across the US for many years to come.
