The department administers two different museums, the J. Wayne Stark Galleries and the Foryth Galleries. The J. Wayne Stark Galleries host about 12 exhibitions a year. Visitors will see exhibits ranging from the traditional fine arts and crafts to anthropology, archaeology, history, and science. You can also explore the permanent collection, which includes works by Texas artists such as E.M. Buck Schiwetz, John Biggers, H.O. Kelly, Julian Onderdonk and Dawson-Dawson-Watson. The Forsyth Galleries is home to a world-class collection of English Cameo Glass and American and European art glass.
