About Texas A&M University Engineering Academies
The Texas A&M Engineering Academy program is the first transition program of its kind in the U.S., where unlike traditional transfer programs, students are a Texas A&M University College of Engineering student from day one. Students are co-enrolled with Texas A&M and a partner institution where they take mathematics, science and core curriculum courses through the partner institution while taking engineering courses from Texas A&M faculty on the partner institution campus. After one or two years, students transition to Texas A&M to complete their bachelor's degrees.
