The Texas Automobile Dealers Association (TADA) is the statewide trade association representing over 1,200 franchised automobile dealerships in nearly 300 communities throughout the state of Texas. It represents the dealer body before the Texas Legislature, Congress, and all regulatory agencies. As the voice of Texasâ franchised automobile dealers in public policy and regulatory matters, TADA advocates on behalf of its members for fair and ethical business practices to better serve consumers in Texas. TADA is also a resource for its members, providing access to business best practices, educational training programs, legal support, and an annual conference. TADA promotes the best interests not only of franchised dealers but also consumers. The association supports programs for the resolution of consumer complaints and places high priority on consumer welfare by promoting motor vehicle and driver safety as well as a safe, reliable highway system. By supporting laws that benefit franchised dealers, the automobile industry and consumers, TADA can further promote a business climate that fosters growth, opportunity and financial stability. Above all, TADA members are committed to creating jobs, providing quality service, and giving back to their communities through time and resources. The Texas Automobile Dealers Association is a member of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), the association representing all franchised automobile dealers in the United States.
