Texas Parrot Rescue is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization located in Fort Worth, Texas. We are dedicated to rehabilitating companion birds who have been rescued, neglected, abused, injured, or surrendered to us. Our mission is to help reduce the pet parrot crisis by educating the public about the long-term commitment it takes in owning a parrot for life. Specializing with the rehabilitation of african greys, conures, senegals, and a variety of macaw species. The rescue is primarily a forever home sanctuary for our residents depending on the surrender's wishes and the bird's mental/physical needs. If you are interested in adopting a parrot available under our care, please message your information and to apply for an application. We believe that parrots choose their mate or their "person" and the process will be very detailed and diligent. Thank you for saving the life of a parrot! By teaching others to do extensive research about the care, type of species, and life span of parrots, it can help reduce impulsive parrot buying and re-homing. Many months and years should be spent on educating oneself on owning a bird before purchasing a parrot.
