At the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC) we believe that every Texan deserves the opportunity to live in safe, decent and affordable housing. TSAHC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was created at the direction of the Texas Legislature in 1994 to serve as a self-sustaining, statewide affordable housing provider. At TSAHC we believe that every Texan deserves the opportunity to live in safe, decent and affordable housing. Our innovative programs address the housing needs of low-income families and underserved communities. What We Do Our programs target the housing needs of low-income families and other underserved populations who do not have acceptable housing options through conventional financial channels. At TSAHC, addressing this critical and expanding need with innovative housing programs is our daily mission. TSAHC provides a variety of affordable housing programs aimed at: -Helping developers build better housing for working families -Helping homebuyers achieve the American dream of homeownership -Helping homeowners sustain homeownership and improve their financial situation
