TEXTEST AG exists since 1969 and is a Swiss manufacturer of testing instruments for technical textiles. The main focus lies on a comprehensive family of Air Permeability Testers, a Hydrostatic Head Tester, a Water Vapor Transmission Rate Tester, and an on-line instrument for determination of air permeability and thickness at the moving web. The FX 3300 Air Permeability Tester LabAir IV determines the air permeability, the pressure drop and other related parameters under laboratory conditions. It complies with many national and international standard test methods and can be adapted for numerous special applications. The FX 3340 MinAir is a compact and mobile version of the laboratory instrument. The FX 3345 FlexAir is particularly suitable for measuring the air permeability or the pressure drop of contaminated (filter) materials. The FX 3360 PortAir is a portable instrument for profile measurements of air permeability, pressure drop, and thickness in the production or finishing line. The FX 3370 SpotAir can be used to determine the Air Permeability and the Pressure Drop in the moving production line. The same measuring module can be used hand-held, or it can be mounted to the frame of the production or finishing machine for a continuous profile measurement. The FX 3500 CombiScan continuously measures the air permeability or pressure drop, and, optionally, the thickness, and displays length, cross or zigzag profiles. The FX 3000 Hydrostatic Head Tester HydroTester IV is used for automatic determination of the water resistance of any flat material. The FX 3180 Water Vapor Transmission Rate Tester CupMaster automatically determines the WVTR of up to 15 samples simultaneously based on the gravimetric method. The FX 3250 PICK COUNTER automatically determines the thread density of woven and knitted materials up to 300/cm or 762/inch.
