Thanks! Plain and Simple creates projects that need to be done in America. The American Rosie Movement is an example. Rosie the Riveters pulled together and did highest quality work in a cooperative spirit during World War II. America needs to be seen as pulling together again in order to be respected by ourselves and others. "Thanks!" has developed the movement over 12 years, and we offer you the opportunity to join many others to reach higher goals. Some key characteristics of the American Rosie Movement are that it: a) Offers people a way to focus on productivity, not protest; b) Includes people and organizations of all kinds; c) Honors and respects women, as critical to democracy, and does not "male bash"; d) Is needed now and into the future, because it guides people to do work that is seen, replicated, and improved on in many ways. Your role in the American Rosie Movement can be large or small. You will make a difference locally, nationally, and internationally if you recognize that our Rosies show us that people must connect as human beings in order to have and maintain a healthy society. We started as a small nonprofit, and we are ready to grow. You are needed if you can pull together, do quality work, be cooperative, and respect women's importance.
