About The 1583 Sustainability Academy
A very warm welcome to our LinkedIn page! The 1583 Society is an initiative that started - as so many good things do - over a coffee conversation between 3 individuals in the beautiful city of Como, Italy, in September 2022. These 3 individuals wanted to give back to society and make a measurable difference to the lives of millions of amazing people and play their part in saving the world. So they set about creating a pilot to test their idea and the reaction in the market has been absolutely fantastic, attracting some amazing partners along the way. Today "The academy for the sustainability and well-being of citizens" is a powerful tool for cities and municipalities to use to help their citizens improve their quality of lives by thinking in more sustainable ways and in the process save our beautiful planet. For this project we are piggybacking on our track record in another project of ours, where we already run the online small business academies of over 412 cities (from small villages to cities with 4.7 million residents) in 27 countries.
