Trailblazers in Autism Support The A World UK is proud to be the world’s first organisation to exclusively hire popular attractions for the autistic community. Since 2019, we have been pioneering a new model of autism support creating safe, inclusive, and judgment-free spaces where autistic people and their families can explore freely, without barriers. Our autism-friendly events take place at some of the UK’s most loved attractions, from Gulliver’s Theme Parks and Blackpool Zoo to Diggerland and BeWILDerwood. By hiring entire venues exclusively, we make sure every individual feels comfortable, supported, and able to create magical memories. But our work doesn’t stop there. To sustain and expand this model, we’ve built a growing network of 30+ community stores across England. These stores raise vital funds that allow us to subsidise tickets, making events affordable for families — especially those on low incomes. They also serve as local hubs for connection, inclusion, and support. Volunteers are at the heart of The A World UK. Each month, they contribute thousands of hours across our stores, helping us raise funds and reach more families. Many of our team members began as volunteers, and over a dozen have since progressed into staff and management roles proof that volunteering with us is not just about giving back, but also about opening doors. We are more than an organisation. We are trailblazers, redefining what true autism acceptance looks like.
