The Academy of Aviation (Pty) Ltd has been in existence since 2008 Our key business is upskilling in the aviation industry. Initially our operations were based at Lanseria International Airport. The company moved premises in January 2019 to allow for better facilities and to be able to accommodate our students, encompassing that philosophy that students stay on the premises, and live, eat and breathe aviation for the duration of their training. We focus on range of aviation related training and upskilment in the aviation industry. We continue to strive to add further courses in this industry, developing future aviators, which we are passionate about. We offer recurrent training for Qualified Pilots, these pilots travel in daily for the various courses we offer. We are a licensed RPAS training and are accredited by the SA CAA. All training done on our premises in Honeydew, Theorry and Practical. We also offer various Flight Attendant/Cabin Crew training for students wanting to qualify with a SA CAA Licence. As a register ATO (Aviation Training Organisation) we adhered to strict legislation of this organisation. Our qualification is internationally recognised. WE do recurrent and Requalification for Cabin Crew. Our Instructors, Staff and Directors are all highly qualified and passionate about aviation. We strive to work and train in a healthy postive and highly motivated environment.
