The Admissions Plan is an educational consultancy for families seeking guidance and support throughout the NYC private school admissions process. The Admissions Plan was co-founded by Sharon Decker, Ph.D. and Julie Rosenberg, M.Ed. who have over 25 years of experience in teaching, advising, and consulting. They recognized a need for support in navigating NYC's independent school landscape and their combined personal and professional experience spans across every possible educational option: preschool, K-8, K-12, gifted, coed, single-sex, progressive, traditional, religious, and includes schools in New York City, Westchester, and New Jersey. Applying to independent schools in NYC can be overwhelming and stressful, but it doesn't have to be. Dr. Decker and Ms. Rosenberg support their clients through all aspects of the application process, including managing timelines, essay review, mock interviews, testing recommendations, school correspondence, and more.
