The Advisers Association (TAA) advocates on behalf of its members to promote greater awareness of and access to financial advice for everyday Australians. Members are representatives of Akumin Financial Planning (AFSL 232706), Charter Financial Planning Limited (AFSL 232705) and Hillross Financial Services (AFSL 232705). TAA is a non-profit, member-based, and member-funded association incorporated in 1925. We represent, protect and enhance our members' interests and help them build professional, client-focussed, sustainable and valuable businesses. We provide personal and professional support to both past and present members. We believe financial advice makes a significant, positive difference in the lives of members' clients, thereby relieving the burden on Australia’s social security system and consequently having a profound impact on the Australian economy. TAA is committed to working with Government, regulators and the broader financial services industry to champion the ongoing viability of the financial advice profession so that more Australians can benefit from cost-effective access to financial advice. TAA collaborates closely with other financial services and adviser associations, including on a Joint Associations Working Group contributing to the Quality of Advice Review and the Australian Law Reform Commission.
