About The Advocacy and Accountability Collaborative
TAAC strengthens local organizations by helping them coordinate efforts, build collaboratives, and amplify the voices of those most excluded from health decisions. We provide institutional and technical support for the use of relevant data to drive policy, financing reforms including for domestic resource mobilization, and to hold governments and other stakeholders accountable for their commitments. By centering local expertise and uniting civil society, TAAC increases ownership and ensures health systems are equitable, responsive and sustainably led from within. We partner with governments, civil society organizations, healthcare providers, and communities to identify and address systemic gaps in family planning and the entire RMNCAH spectrum. Through country and local collaboratives, we build advocacy capacity and drive community-led solutions that streamline accountability processes, make health systems more responsive to people's needs, reduce inefficiencies, and strengthen service delivery to ensure improved access, equity, and quality of care for all. TAAC has established Country Collaboratives in 7 different countries with a total of 206 civil society organizations and networks as members of TAAC.
