About The Aktuel Translation Group
Incorporating: Aktuel Translations, PTI (Patent Translations International) and Quarto Translations. Founded in 1992 in London by Robin Bennett, The Aktuel Translation Group was built on foundations of increasing globalisation and rapidly advancing technology. This combination provided both the opportunity and the tools for businesses the world over to discover opportunities for growth in the international arena. The expansion of global business has provided the demand for what we do. The growth of the internet and email has enabled us to react to that demand in the most efficient way by being able to send and receive source and translated documents instantaneously. Over the last 22 years we’ve built a network of more than 4,000 translators around the world. Our translators are selected because they are native speakers of the languages that we translate into – and because we know we can rely on them to deliver high quality work on time. We can provide translation between more than 150 languages and we are ISO9001 quality-certified for translation into over 400 language combinations. Companies specialising in patent translation and the translation of books, magazines and websites have been set up within the Aktuel group. And with translation at its core, the business has branched out into all areas of language consultancy.
