The Alma Maters Club is working with schools in Cameroon to equip children with skills for digital success. The world has changed. IT skills are no longer a privilege for those pursuing a career in IT. Almost all jobs now require some level of computer know-how so waiting to learn on the job will only put the next generation of school graduates on the back foot. The Alma Maters Club programme for colleges is an online learning portal, hosting courses, competitions and collaborative projects. We have devised a curriculum that will bridge the gap between classroom theory and industry practice and empower participants with the essential skills to navigate a digital world. To ensure the curriculum can be delivered effectively, we ensure students at partner schools have access to the infrastructure and tuition they need to get the most out of this interest led curriculum.
