One day she receives word that nearby humans are making terrible choices that could endanger her whole hive. With a personality equal parts honey and sting, Debbee sets out to save her community with a group of lovable characters. In writing this book, we set out to put some memorable faces on the small, helpless creatures that humans often overlook. Pollinators are so important in our environment, and there just wasn't anything out there that aimed to educate kids about them in an entertaining way," Silber says.
