MISSION Opening doors to higher education for Colorado students throughout their post-secondary journey through graduation. Building community while enriching the lives of families, fellow students, and those who follow. The Ambassador Foundation provides college advising, leadership training, scholarships, internships, and peer-led community groups as foundational resources to first generation, second-language learners, students of color, immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers, asylees, undocumented, DACA, and other traditionally under-represented populations who seek advice and assistance. Our staff has over a century of combined experience in serving students of all ages. In 2023, the Foundation gave $75,000 in scholarships to students completing our annual Leadership Program. More accessed financial aid because of individualized college advising and the help of tenacious, dedicated staff. Far beyond finances, students are empowered with self-advocacy skills and belonging. We address racial and ethnic disparities, income instability, and mental health challenges inherent in seeking a post-secondary degree. In 2023, The Ambassador Foundation served 160 students ranging in age from 15 to 44 and representing 41 countries. We added 40 students by word of mouth to serve 200 as of March 2024.
