About The American College of the Mediterranean
The American College of the Mediterranean (ACM) is a U.S. non-profit institution with headquarters in Aix-en-Provence, France. ACM offers American-style BA and Master's degree programs and short-term programs through its study abroad institute, The Institute for American Universities (IAU). IAU was founded in 1957 by academics and former diplomats, and it offers study abroad programs to students from around the world. ACM was founded with the same mission in mind: to provide excellence in international education, inspire intercultural awareness, and prepare students for success in a global community through the study of European and Mediterranean history, languages, cultures, and contemporary issues. We accomplish this through a unique combination of courses, internships, field studies, and curricula that combine to create American-style undergraduate and graduate degree programs in an international and cross-cultural setting.
