Based in Vermont, TAC’s family of corporations includes: The Aquatic Training Academy— an American Red Cross licensed provider of lifeguarding and instructor certifications— delivers on-site instruction for public organizations and private businesses nationwide. By providing an interactive curriculum at employers’ locations— from open water sites and camps to indoor facilities— ATA creates an efficient, in-depth, reality-based educational experience for aquatic professionals. TATS Kids’ Swim School— Vermont’s premier provider of swim lessons— for children ages 2-13 years. HOW IT ALL BEGAN: Over the years we have seen a continuous need for aquatic training and water safety education within our communities across America. This year, we are very excited to announce that The Aquatic Connection (TAC) will continue to carry out the mission of what Teach American To Swim and NEK Swim started! For those of you who may not know our backstory, in 2015 a small swim instruction company named NEK Swim was founded and began offering swimming lessons throughout Vermont. In 2017, NEK Swim expanded into Teach America To Swim to not only continue to offer swim instruction, but many other services including a full course list of Lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor, and Health & Safety training. This year, kicking off 2022, Teach America To Swim has joined The Aquatic Connection to continue to offer Kids' Swim Lessons throughout Vermont alongside The Aquatic Training Academy, which will offer American Red Cross lifeguarding and swim instructor certifications nationwide!
