About us The Archertype was born out of a desire to bring the same enjoyment and excitement that other countries enjoy playing Archery Tag to the fun loving people of Manchester! We are the only sole Archery Tag focused provider within Manchester and we cater for all types of clients aged 10 and over. What is Archery Tag? Archery Tag (a.k.a Combat Archery) is a sport similar to dodgeball in which participants shoot one another using bow and foam tipped arrows which are non-lethal. Archery Tag is a fast paced sport which requires a lot of dynamic movement, clever decision making and teamwork to win the game cooperatively. Players can expect to have a great team bonding experience with us at The Archertype as well as release their inner Katniss Everdeen or Hawkeye! About the Owner The Archertype is owned by Timothy Wan; a lover of games, team sports and seeing people smile. It is Tim’s desire to utilise The Archertype to empower, involve and bring together local communities through offering subsidised rate for them to play Archery Tag to develop team-building skills, camaraderie and an all in all general fun activity to do as a group.
