About The Arka Brotherhood
Arka Brotherhood is a leadership development community dedicated to forging integrity and accountability in men through coaching and peer support. We are an inclusive and diverse group, with men from all races and backgrounds. Arka builds better men through leadership training. We provide a structured space for men to transform themselves into self-aware, self-disciplined, empowered and trustworthy leaders. We are guided by the Fourteen Guiding Principles designed by our founder Phil T. Mistlberger. Our members meet weekly in small circles, in-person or online, that we call ‘Squads’. Each squad is led by an experienced leader that we refer to as ‘Captain’. The focus in our meetings is on speaking the truth, listening deeply, and mutual support. Our men join us to overcome self-sabotage, be challenged, be celebrated, set goals and be accountable for them. We want men to be leaders in their lives. Our organization operates as a not-for-profit: revenue stays within our organization to further our mission of building better men. Our weekly, action-focused circles guide men towards the embodiment and integration of mature masculinity. We inspire one another to improve our relationships, be accountable to their words and actions, and become trustworthy leaders. In 2015, Phil T. Mistlberger initiated this community, formerly known as the Samurai Brotherhood, with a small circle of six men. Since then, it has grown organically to 450+ men with over 45 squads in North America.
