About The Art Is Love Project
The project was co-founded in 2019 by Visual Artist Sean Starr and filmmakers Daniel Driensky and Sarah Reyes. The purpose of the project is to explore the subject of preservation of the arts amidst a rapidly transforming global society centered on technology through film and dialogue. In our maiden journey we travel to Nepal where we take a deep dive into the hand crafted work of multi generational artisans, the cultures of the people inhabiting remote Himalayan villages and the intricate temples and rituals of this diverse region. The name “Art is Love” refers to the selfless act of sharing one’s creative talents with the larger community as an expression of love.
