About The Art of Cheese

Kate Johnson had been teaching home-cheesemaking for years through her farm, Briar Gate Farm LLC, where she raises dairy goats and runs summer camps and other farm programs. She eventually decided she needed more space and flexibility so she could offer a wider variety of classes and so in the Fall of 2014 she launched The Art of Cheese LLC. She now teaches about a dozen different Artisan Home-Cheesemaking classes covering 30 different cheeses both in-person and virtually!
