About The Art of Pecan
We are The Art of Pecan, and we develop and manufacture innovative foods derived from the American native pecan. Native Texas pecan trees are the originals. From Georgia to South Africa, all the pecan cultivars growing throughout the world in one way or another come from Texas and the surrounding regions. Texas is the historic epicenter of the world’s pecan supply. It’s not surprising, then, that the native pecan is both the State Tree and the State Nut of Texas. What is surprising, however, is how much pecans have been ignored by consumer packaged food brands. Despite being the most antioxidant-rich nuts, and packed with other nutritious minerals, vitamins, and healthy fats, pecans largely remain a comfort food, used mostly for pies and confections and similar seasonal recipes that pecan lovers make because, well, it’s what pecan lovers have always made. We’re looking to change that. We started with our multi-award winning Pure Pecan Oil, our flagship product, and we’re now well on our way developing new and innovative pecan foods, like our best selling Activated Native Texas Pecans. Our mission is to create the highest quality products ever derived from the amazing natural resource that is the American native pecan.
