The Artest Foundation (TAF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization co-founded by Ron Artest Sr. and Metta World Peace with a mission to create positive change in underserved communities through the power of sports, education, mental health, and entrepreneurship. We believe that every young person deserves access to the tools and opportunities that foster resilience, leadership, and success—both on and off the court. Our programs are built around four key pillars: Sports, Education, Mental Health, and Entrepreneurship. Through community clinics, mentorship initiatives, financial literacy workshops, and mental wellness programming, we aim to empower youth and families with the resources they need to thrive. Whether it's hosting basketball events, supporting local schools, or collaborating with mental health professionals, we strive to make a lasting impact from the ground up. At the heart of TAF is a deep commitment to equity, access, and innovation. By working alongside community leaders, educators, and changemakers, we are building a movement that reimagines what’s possible for young people—especially in communities that have historically been left behind.
