About The Auriga Academy Trust
The Auriga Academy Trust comprises of three separate and distinct special academies: - Strathmore School - Clarendon School - Capella House School Strathmore is a happy, thriving, oversubscribed and growing special school for children and young people aged 4 -19 with severe and complex learning difficulties including those with an additional diagnosis of autism and/or physical/sensory disabilities. We are committed to supporting all of our pupils to achieve and enjoy and be stimulated and challenged to fulfil their potential. Clarendon is a day special academy for pupils aged 4-16 with moderate learning difficulties and additional complex needs including Autism. Our team work together provides the best education and pastoral care to ensure that Clarendon is a place of learning for everyone. Capella House is a new special school opened in September 2019 and is part of the Auriga Academy Trust. The school, based in Twickenham, offers places to aged 4 - 16 who have speech, language and communication difficulties who benefit from intensive Speech & Language and Occupational Therapy. Across our schools two thirds of pupils have an additional diagnosis of Autism. The Auriga Academy Trust is founded on the vision that, through working together, we can provide outstanding learning experiences for the pupils and students in our communities, both now and in the future.
