In cooperation with Chalmers/SAFER The irezQ road safety app saves lives For free members, the irezQ road safety app detects accidents and warns others: - DETECT & ALERT: irezQ will detect road accidents, and together with the back-end system, will warn others within seconds, thus preventing others from crashing into you. - WARNING: The irezQ app will warn you within seconds of an accident nearby so that you have a chance avoid the danger. For Premium members, the irezQ road safety app also does the following: - HELP: An alarm is displayed on the emergency operator's screen showing your exact position. The operator will inform the emergency services about the exact position of the accident and about your medical needs. - CONTACT: An operator will contact you upon an alarm that is considered a genuine alarm. The operator sees your exact position, your breaking pattern in a graph and possible movement during the incident. The operator can contact the persons listed in your app. - MEDIC: The operator will inform the emergency services about your personal data and medical needs submitted in your road safety app. The irezQ app starts automatically when you have traveled 1000 meters and reached the speed of 25 km/h. It is developed with smart algorithms using sensors in your smartphone. By automatically monitoring and interpreting certain parameters, the app can detect an accident whereby an immediate warning is sent to travelers nearby. This can prevent others from crashing into you and prevents you from harm in a second crash. For Premium members, the app will alert the emergency operator who can see your position and breaking pattern presented in a graph. The emergency operator will try to reach you, and can also contact the persons that you have submitted in the app. If you choose to submit information about your health needs, the emergency services will be informed to improve your chances for a better treatment at the scene of the accident.
