About The BAC O'Connor Centre
Opened in 1998 the BAC O’Connor Centre provides rehabilitation and support to people with a drug and / or alcohol misuse problem in our centres across Staffordshire. Following her own personal experience of addiction and her journey into recovery Noreen Oliver Founder and Chief Executive Officer set out to provide a rehabilitation programme in the community in which addiction had developed and today The BAC O’Connor Centre supports and helps more than 240 individuals and their families overcome addiction and to take up life’s challenges and live a drug and alcohol free life. We specialise in the rehabilitation of individuals experiencing dependency. Based on 23 years' experience we have developed an evidence-based programme that delivers an end to end service “Rehabilitation in the real World” addressing issues of the twentieth century, with a holistic programme that aims to meet the varying needs of individuals and prepare them for the future. We believe rehabilitation should not end or claim to be successful until such time an individual has a future purpose and has begun to build a foundation towards an independent lifestyle and the confidence to achieve such.
