About The Bacchus Society
The Bacchus Society is an amalgamation of Bacchus Alumni and the Bacchus Student Society. A community of students, graduates and friends of OSHM, who are formally connected with Oxford Brookes, endeavor to strengthen a worldwide network of industry professionals. We aim to provide our members with opportunities to meet with and learn from successful alumni as well as running a number of social events for current students including nights out, networking and the annual Bacchus Ball. The alumni President, Peter Chapman, commented, “This is an important development for the Oxford School of Hospitality Management. It will provide more opportunities for students to meet with and learn from successful alumni, and will enable graduates to better support each other. We are trying to promote the sense that once you join as a student, that should be the start of a valuable life-long relationship with the School. It should be a source of pride to all graduates that the reputation of the School continues to grow”.
