About The Backstop Softball Training Facility
At The Backstop it is our mission to motivate, influence, and challenge athletes in a positive way. It is our goal to create a culture in which softball players can not only grow, but thrive. Young athletes often lack mental toughness and confidence that would bring a physically talented athlete to the next level. We aim to teach positivity and sportsmanship, and create an environment where girls from different teams and different levels can come together, challenge weaknesses and learn from one another's strengths. We aim to teach young athletes a sound lesson in both sports and life: others’ failures are NOT your successes, you control your own outcomes. We are an indoor softball training facility where young women come to learn and enhance their skills in softball. Not only will you be able to work on physical skills, but we will support mental training with a culture that will instill mental toughness, sportsmanship and competitiveness. We specialize in hitting, pitching and serving as multi-use facility that will offer top of the line training equipment, machines, technology and coaching staff to enhance the skill set of any softball player that walks through the door. The Backstop provides the space for individual self training or one on one pupil-teacher training. We also host small, medium and large class settings for players, coaches, teams and leagues to train.
