The Ballroom Dance Center is the longest operating partner dance studio in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). We feature a full staff of accomplished and professionally certified instructors. Our beautiful, modern studio is the premier facility in Augusta: The only 5,000 square foot studio with a huge floating, “leg friendly”, hardwood dance floor, featuring a large and small ballroom and a lovely ambiance. We have quality instruction for both the competitive and social dancer. With expertise in ballroom dances like Waltz, Foxtrot, and Tango, rhythm dances like Rumba, Cha Cha, and Swing, and popular dances like West Coast Swing, Carolina Shag, Argentine Tango, and Salsa, you will certainly want to be part of the fun. We offer shows featuring both professional and student casts. Offered annually, our showcases are full length, original Broadway style theatrical productions. All levels and all ages have fun, work hard, and develop confidence and showmanship. Our students and our professionals enjoy the athletic and artistic challenge of competitions held around the United States often in resort destinations like Asheville’s Grove Park Inn. We take pride in The Ballroom Dance Center being the home to the only professional American Style Smooth and Rhythm United States 9 Dance finalists in the area! These professionals have trained long and hard to bring their dance skills to a competitive level and to bring that expertise to The Ballroom Dance Center. One of the unique strengths of the Ballroom Dance Center, is the Nationally known coaches we bring to our studio. Throughout the year we will bring the very best in Ballroom, West Coast Swing, and Argentine Tango professionals.
