About The Bander Center for Medical Business Ethics
The Bander Center was established in 2007 and is situated in the School of Medicine at St. Louis University. Our goal, through research, education, and community engagement, is to better understand, and better communicate, the ethical relationships between health care professionals, patients, business and society. Far from a theoretical institute, the Bander Center endeavors to weave itself into the fabric of contemporary life, discovering the contemporary predicament, and taking bold steps into the future with our partners. We encourage open dialogue on the issues of medical business ethics by bringing people together in inspiring spaces for thoughtful reflection. Our challenge, therefore, is to hear from voices from across the community to take part and to encourage each other on this important journey.
