About The Baobab Home
Founded in 2004, The Baobab Home is a small, community-focused NGO located on a 12 acre farm where we raise organic fruits, vegetables, fish, poultry and cows just outside of Bagamoyo, Tanzania. The Baobab Home is also dedicated to educating the children of Bagamoyo, through our Steven Tito primary school. Our aim is to foster sustainability through regenerative farming, and promote independence by teaching self-reliance. Our programs in Bagamoyo empower local children with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive while fostering a sense of global citizenship. We aim to inspire other communities to embrace education, sustainable living, and collective growth through strong community and volunteer support as we build a more connected, resilient, and independent future. The Baobab Home is a registered 501(c)(3) organization in the USA and a registered foreign NGO in Bagamoyo, Tanzania.
