Growing up around cattle and horses, coffee was a staple in my household. As a teenager, I developed a love for coffee, and it continued to be a part of my daily routine during my time in the Army and National Guard. Back then, the quality of a coffee was determined by its ability to "stand straight up when you stab a fork in the cup. It wasn't until I met my beautiful Costa Rican wife, and she took me to her home country that I discovered what real quality coffee was all about. The rich aroma, bold flavor, and vibrant acidity of Costa Rican coffee blew me away and sparked my passion for coffee. I was fascinated by the process of coffee making, from the small farmers who cultivate the beans, to the roasters who bring out the unique flavor profiles. Fast forward a few years later, when the opportunity to get into the coffee industry and genuinely help wounded Veterans presented itself, we knew it was something we couldn't pass up. We are a Veteran-owned and operated premium coffee bean subscription company that believes in supporting wounded Veterans by donating a portion of our profits and time to Homes For Our Troops.
