About The Bench
The Bench is an award-winning innovative legal services provider offering cost-effective legal services, legal recruitment, legal secondments and legal tech. We set-up in the United Arab Emirates in 2016 based on client demand in the Middle East for a law firm focusing on the TMT and hospitality sectors. To stay ahead of the fast changing legal landscape, we operate more like a digital legal ecosystem than a traditional law firm. We have a deep bench of legal consultants around the globe who we can call on as and when required. We offer a more tailor-made service to clients by matching the right lawyer with the work rather than our lawyers trying to 'turn their hand' at anything that comes across their desks. By working from our own locations, we cut out the cost of expensive offices, receptionists, support staff etc. By passing those cost savings on to you it allows us to provide you with direct access to senior lawyers at the same cost you would normally get charged for a newly qualified lawyer by international law firms. Being small we can take a very flexible approach to pricing and rather than billing you for every 6 minutes, we are free to offer more innovative fee structures. Our clients range from individual entrepreneurs to global law firms and everything in-between. We work seamlessly with in-house legal departments and law firms to augment their existing teams either in terms of specialist legal areas or simply to assist with increased demand.
