We are a company that does things differently; that creates and innovates and is relentless in our search for the new. When Bruce Turner established The Bespoke Amenities Company (TBAC) in 2012, it was with the aim of manufacturing cosmetic amenities on par with anything available internationally. Although South Africa had a notable dearth of manufacturers in this field, he was determined to bring about change – and what better way to contribute to the transformation of an industry and, indeed, a country than by establishing a factory that would provide employment while creating products that would add cachet to the phrase ‘Proudly South African’. We’re proud of the feel-good factor that comes from creating jobs in an economy where unemployment remains a major challenge. Our 6 000m² factory and warehouse, located in northern Johannesburg, is the largest amenities manufacturing facility in Southern Africa, and ensures we are well placed to service the 3 500 properties we supply both directly and indirectly. From small beginnings, TBAC has evolved into a 120-strong team exporting products to 18 African countries, including Botswana, Mauritius, Seychelles, Ghana, the DRC and Malawi. What’s the secret to our success? Simple: our speedy turnaround times, combined with service delivered by an enthusiastic team obsessed with detail. While we are able to hold our own amongst far larger players, we offer a personal touch. And, of course, the quality of our products is unfailingly impressive: because we manufacture all amenities ourselves, we are in full control of the process, and ensure only the best raw materials from reliable, reputable suppliers are used. The result? Amenities that are an asset to your establishment. Our aim is to be a value adding, indispensable part of our customers’ supply chain by offering an exceptional product and extraordinary customer experience.
