In 2020, tens of thousands of Canadians rallied around locally owned small businesses and generated $20 million in local spending and $100 million in economic impact – on a single day! While the initial pain of COVID is hopefully behind us, the economic challenges it left behind are real! So we’re bringing The Big Spend back in 2023 with the plan for an even bigger impact. WHAT’S NEW FOR 2023? 1. A Bigger Plan! - We’re looking for hundreds of Community Partners (Chambers, BIA’s, and other community groups) to help us kickstart Canada’s economy. 2. A Better Strategy! - A National marketing campaign that leverages existing networks to create a high-profile spending event that supports locally-owned businesses! - An earlier start helps us be better prepared with a marketing plan and resources to produce a better event! 3. Better Resources! - A unique-to-you page on our new searchable site - A full suite of social media resources to promote The Big Spend in your community. 4. Better Value for you and your members!
