About The Billie Sunshine Project
The Billie Sunshine Project is a Nonprofit Organization that hopes to spread a little help and happiness to the world, one event at a time. The Billie Sunshine Project has held multiple events over the southeast region of the United States since it was founded in October 2011, in honor of the late Billie Jean Robin. It's main focuses thus far have been in the environmental sector with events such as 3 mile beach clean ups and national parks and trail restoration. Other causes that our team are passionate about making a dramatic impact in are feeding the homeless, heart disease, breast cancer, children's diabetes, saving the wetlands, and providing gifts for underprivileged children year round for birthdays, Christmas, Easter, etc. Our team's current major project is building and running a large organic fruit and vegetable garden that will be grown for local struggling families and homeless members of society. If the campaign is fruitful we hope to be able to get other gardens set up by our members in other cities.
