About The Black Bloom Project
The Black Bloom Project is a cultural agency and interdisciplinary studio with a mission to cultivate care, healing, and creative expression within local and marginalized communities. Through installations, workshops, and community-driven projects, we create spaces where Black Womxn, Womxn of Color, and our broader society can come together to heal and thrive. Our work has been exhibited with the Chicago Park District at Austin Town Hall and at The Public Media Institute’s Co-Prosperity Gallery in Bridgeport. Our recent partnerships include Roots + Blooms, a workshop series hosted at the We Sow We Grow farm space in West Pullman, and an upcoming workshop series with SAIC Homan Square. These initiatives exemplify our commitment to community-building and creative expression, and we continue to forge meaningful connections that inspire healing and transformation.
