About The Bloss'Em Project

The Bloss’Em Project is a trauma-informed, equity-centered program dedicated to supporting the social-emotional wellbeing of youth through engaging, evidence-informed education. Our work is rooted in the belief that when young people are equipped with tools for emotional regulation, self-awareness, and relationship-building, they’re better able to thrive in all areas of their lives. We focus on three interconnected pillars: brain health, active living, and healthy relationships. These pillars guide everything we do—from curriculum design to facilitation—to help youth strengthen their mental wellness, develop strong social connections, and build habits that support their emotional and physical resilience. In today’s world, young people are facing increasing pressure from social media, rising mental health challenges, and the rapid pace of change around them. The Bloss’Em Project helps to mitigate these effects by creating safe, inclusive spaces where youth can pause, reflect, move their bodies, and connect meaningfully with themselves and others. Our workshops are delivered in schools and community settings and are designed to be culturally responsive, engaging, and empowering. By blending brain-based education with real-life strategies, we aim to nurture confident, emotionally intelligent youth who can lead with empathy and stand strong in their sense of self. At The Bloss’Em Project, we don’t just teach youth how to cope—we help them blossom by giving them the tools they need to confidently navigate life, relationships, and the world around them.
