The Boatshed building at Woronora was originally built in 1946 and was given a facelift and extended in the early 2000's. In addition to the existing canoe, kayak and motorboat hire service, the present owners have converted the balcony and living rooms into a bistro-style cafe and the main bedrooms are available for overnight accommodation or longer as required. The two double bedrooms each have an en-suite bathroom with spa bath and separate shower. The single rooms do not have ensuite facilities. All rooms have tea / coffee facilities plus fridge, TV/DVD and ipod-capable bedside clock radio. Boats for hire include fibreglass and plastic single kayaks, double and triple seat canoes and 5hp 4 adult aluminium runabouts. Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs), paddles and instruction are all included. Hire periods range from half an hour to all day and the river is approximately 19kms long; we are situated about halfway. Boat Hire is available 7 days a week from 8:30 to 6pm (or sunset if earlier) The Balcony Cafe is also open to the public 7 days a week, from 9am - 4pm, and offers hot and cold snacks, light lunches, coffee and soft drinks.
