The Bob Pike Group educates corporate trainers through modelling an interactive, participant-centered format that allows trainers to move away from lecture and improve learner retention. Since 1979, more than 100,000 trainers have gone through our train-the-trainer workshops and are now breathing new life into the corporate training function through participant-centered learning which has increased on-the-job application and interest by participants who willingly want to attend training. We use group interaction over 80 percent of the time. Typically, most training sessions use a lecture-based teaching approach for 80-90 percent of the content and one or two group activities to change the pace.
