Once upon a bus ride, a perfectly good paperback was destroyed in a backpack. His name was George. He didn’t make it. Bent cover. Cracked spine. Coffee splash. Gone too soon. We knew there had to be a better way. Not just another cloth sleeve. Not something that looks like camping gear. Something stronger. Sleeker. Something that actually protects books, allowing you to read anything, anywhere, without judgment. We’re SRMB Enterprises, a group of book-loving humans who got tired of wrecking our paperbacks and decided to invent something better. And the name? During months of trial-and-error prototyping, we kept thinking about Thomas Edison, who famously said: “I haven’t failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” Same vibe.
