About The Borders Distillery

We're bringing Whisky-making back to the Borders. The Borders Distillery is the first to bring back the tradition of distilling in the Scottish Borders since 1837. Our award-winning distillery is dedicated to making great whisky and to capturing the spirit of the Borders. The Borders Distillery's portfolio includes W:01 Borders Malt & Rye, which is the first Scotch Whisky Blend to leave the region in 185 years. Our second release of Blended Whisky, WS:02 The Long & Short of it, arrives October 2023. Using our Scottish Borders malted barley, we also distill Kerr's Borders Gin and Puffing Billy Steam Vodka, entirely distilled by TBD.
