Building hope, one brick at a time. The BrightBrick Project is a youth-led nonprofit based in Birmingham, Alabama, dedicated to bringing joy, creativity, and encouragement to children in foster care. We collect and deliver new and gently used LEGO sets, each paired with a handwritten letter of encouragement, to remind every child that they are seen, valued, and not alone. Every set is more than just a toy—it’s a message of hope, a chance to imagine, and a moment to just be a kid. We believe that small gestures can have a big impact, and we’re working to build brighter futures, brick by brick.
