About The British Caribbean Chamber of Commerce
Launched in Trinidad & Tobago in 2001 the Chamber is a membership driven organization, which caters directly to the needs of its members to advance their interests by developing a network of organizations with British interests and links, through trade, culture and education. The Chamber continues to grow and develop with a local Advisory Board which has worked diligently to strengthen the Chamber for the benefit of its members. We are also pleased of have Angostura Ltd. and the British High Commission as Patrons of our Chamber. As an International Chamber some of our key functions include: Providing direct business contact with businesses in the Caribbean and in the UK on behalf of our members Facilitating meetings for Caribbean and UK clients wishing to establish their products/services in the UK or the Caribbean markets Coordinating a series of networking events featuring high profile speakers on issues which are relevant and topical Meeting the needs of our members with respect to business/industry specific areas of interest through the coordination of Seminars and Forums Of particular note are our local networking events which have proven to be very popular. These events are regularly attended by representatives from large multinationals as well as small businesses and professionals and provide an ideal forum for fostering business relationships amongst our members.In a nutshell BCCC Members enjoy the following benefits: Business Opportunities which arise from belonging to an international Chamber Customized Contacts between the UK and the Caribbean A Business Voice on behalf of traders between Britain and the Caribbean Networking events Awareness sessions, training, seminars, exhibitions Support to members with regard to the coordination and promotion of events and services.
